OFT Consumer Credit ActDSL has a licence to lend funds under the Consumer Credit Act 1974. This requires us to provide specific information to each loan applicant.
We must treat all clients in a fair and equitable manner and requires us to be members of the Financial Ombudsman. Any complaints will be dealt with following procedures that adhere to the Financial Ombudsman Service.
DSL has a licence to offer the government's Enterprise Finance Guarantee (EFG) scheme.
EFG enables us to lend to businesses that have inadequate security. Strict guidelines cover all operators of EFG and require us to have annual audits carried out by auditors appointed by Business Innovation and Skills (BIS).
