Some examples of what a DSL Business Finance loan can be used for

• Cashflow
• Buy Machinery/vehicle
• Buy new Stock
• Marketing
• Manufacture of a product for market (R&D fully complete)
• Renovation costs
• To buy a business/management buy out
• To purchase premises or a lease
• To increase workforce

Start up business (not trading yet)

• A current business plan with at least 1 year's financial projections this should include a 12 month cashflow forecast – use our template if you don't have one yet
• A credit file for each owner/director – this costs £2 from Experian

Existing business (more than a months trading)

• A current business plan with at least 1 year's financial projections this should include a 12 month cashflow forecast – use our template if you don't have one yet
• The last 2 years certified accounts and your most recent management accounts (no more than 3 months old)
• a credit file for each owner/director – this costs £2 from Experian
